Biography of Dr. Seyed Rasoul Mousavi

New Iranian Ambassador to Finland, Dr.
Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, arrived in
Helsinki on 11 January 2010 and
presented his
credentials to President of the Republic
on 11 February .
Dr. Mousavi is a career diplomat and his
previous posting was Director General of
Institute for Political and
International Studies (IPIS), which is
affiliated to Foreign Ministry of The
Islamic Republic of Iran.

Dr. Mousavi is a career diplomat and his previous

Dr. Mousavi
is 52, and got his
BA in Political Science
from Shiraz University. For postgraduate
studies, he continued his education at
Tehran University
and received his
M.A.
degree in
Political Science.
Dr. Mousavi took his
Ph.D in Political Science
from Islamic Azad
University
at Tehran.
Dr. Mousavi
speaks
English
and Azeri. He is married to Ms. Zohreh
Mousavi and they have three children.
